If they're gonna do q and a interviews, integrating a special [00:00:30] segment that has an opportunity for sponsorship and really showcase their expertise, how they utilize a [00:00:36] music bed professional, open and close. So just that piece alone has been a really nice [00:00:42] transitional piece of education and motivation for us to build shows that [00:00:48] sound and feel, and the listeners.

it's edutainment, it's not a [:

Voice Over Script: This is the [00:01:12] Growth Accelerator podcast. Now your host Tracy De Forge.

Traci DeForge: Hey there. [:

We will look at how the podcast is discovered, how the podcast is formatted [00:01:42] production items, but one of the things that we focus on the most for business owners who want to leverage [00:01:48] their podcast for growth is how are they using their podcasts to generate and nurture lead. [00:01:54] What we often find is that the podcast is in its one [00:02:00] content creation area of the marketing strategy and all of the other areas, let's [00:02:06] say email, newsletter marketing, or webinars, or even live events, if you're doing live events.

[:

So let's break that down. So we had a client who was very successfully [00:02:42] releasing episodes consistently. The audience was responding well to the podcast and [00:02:48] parallel tracked with that. They were also running a very successful webinar strategy. [00:02:54] But what they weren't seeing is that the leads from the podcast and from the [00:03:00] webinar, neither one of those were converting in the ways that they really thought should be [00:03:06] at the level based on the amount of people attending or the amount of people listening.

And what we [:

So the first thing that we did was make sure the messaging and the [00:03:36] podcast were taking, um. Elements from the webinars, maybe nuggets from the content, letting people [00:03:42] know that their webinars were happening, how to learn more about the webinars from going to their [00:03:48] website. So we were introducing these educational deep dive opportunities to an audience that weren't already [00:03:54] familiar with.

looking at the content as it [:

Maybe the lead wasn't ready to [00:04:24] convert right away to a sales transaction, but because of the webinar experience, they wanted to [00:04:30] know more about the host of the webinar. They wanted to know more about the business model, and the best way to do that was [00:04:36] for them to be introduced to the podcast and continue to build the trust and the.

[:

If you want to really dig into this a little bit more [00:05:12] and talk about, okay, having that lead and then going into the funnel, the top of the funnel, [00:05:18] the middle of the funnel, what to do with those leads, how to access some of those leads and really grow those leads into [00:05:24] sales. Check out this interview that I did with the, I was actually on the Rocket Fuel [00:05:30] Metaverse Summit.

ails, um, here where you can [:

In messages, videos, um, repurposing into shorts, [00:06:00] into reels, um, using the content to, uh, create blogs, um, utilizing it as [00:06:06] website for, on your website, using it for opt-in. So that's that top of the funnel. That's where you can [00:06:12] go out pretty wide. And then as you start to narrow and in that middle of the funnel, [00:06:18] that's when your gut, you've captivated the interest, people wanting to do business with you.

Now what. [:

Then in between the time that they schedule the consult and you [00:06:48] have the consult.

Link to an episode where [:

We had this experience and I, I love real time examples. Um, [00:07:18] again, I've been busy today, so another consult that I had today prior to this presentation, um, [00:07:24] we had had one call with them. They're very interested in our Growth Accelerator program to grow their show and the [00:07:30] opportunity to grow their business with their podcast.

ll that we had with them. In [:

So this isn't [00:08:06] just me making recommendations. These are the recomme. These are the strategies that we use to grow our business at Producer [00:08:12] Podcast, and we know that it works. Also pre virtual event promotions. You guys [00:08:18] have had a lot of really great, um, promotions happening for the event that you're showing up for today.

If you're hosting [:

And then actually once they are in your system, making sure you're integrating it [00:08:54] into customer welcoming, onboarding, customer questions like I'm doing today. The questions that you're [00:09:00] hearing today, the, uh, scenarios and the solutions you're hearing today are, are what we use every day in our practical [00:09:06] day-to-day are operations and using them as additional resources, as client communication tools [00:09:12] in between sessions or in between mastermind groups.

t so many opportunities too. [:

Let's [00:09:36] dig into it.

a podcast, what do you find [:

Traci DeForge: Yeah, so there's kind of a, for me there's a two-pronged to answer for that, and it's a [00:10:00] carryover from your first question.

hows for clients, we, I fall [:

If they're gonna do q and a interviews, integrating a [00:10:30] special segment that has an opportunity for sponsorship and really showcase their expertise, how [00:10:36] they utilize a music bed professional, open and close. So just that piece alone has been a really [00:10:42] nice transitional piece of education and motivation for us to build [00:10:48] shows that sound and feel, and the listeners.

Enjoy because it's [:

Not too much more, but a little bit [00:11:18] more simple because everything is has that continuity. When people experience your brand on the different [00:11:24] platforms, they listen to your podcast, they watch it on YouTube, they go to your website. Everything has a nice continuous flow. [00:11:30] So that builds the trustworthiness and the credibility factor.

hen when you get into really [:

What are you doing organically? [00:12:00] What are you doing to integrate your podcast in all the other areas that you're marketing? And then are you setting aside [00:12:06] a specific budget to market your podcast, maybe inside other podcasts that have similar [00:12:12] audiences? So it's not a simple. One size fits all, [00:12:18] but there's certain pillars of this strategy that I just outlined, that if all of those come together, then you're going [00:12:24] to have organic and accelerated growth.

e having these conversations [:

Voice Over Script: Congratulations, you are on your way to turning your business or company's podcast into a [00:12:48] thriving lead generation and marketing force.
